Content Creation, and Brand Strategy for Interior Design Firm, E-Learning and Podcast

Project Description:

Rebecca Hay, founder of the Toronto-based interior design firm Rebecca Hay Designs, provides coaching for interior designers through consulting, online courses, and her podcast Resilient By Design. To build and nurture her audience of interior designers, her marketing strategy relies heavily on organic social media, paid marketing, and email campaigns.

My Role:

From 2022 to 2023, I collaborated with Rebecca Hay and her team to craft engaging, educational, and compelling content across her social media channels. This included a strong focus on video content, particularly script-heavy, scenario-based videos that required extensive storyboarding and scriptwriting to bring her ideas to life on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Additionally, I created content and moderated multiple Facebook groups within her community.

Beyond social media, I contributed significantly to her paid media marketing and email marketing efforts, emphasizing nurture and journey sequencing for specific courses and related models. The marketing initiatives I supported included:

  • “Always-on” educational and engaging content.

  • Specific campaigns for online courses, community retreats, and digital e-products.

  • Regular promotion of the Resilient By Design weekly podcast.

I updated the business's branding by refreshing the logos, fonts, and colour palettes for both the personal brand and podcast, and I served as a key collaborator on larger business and marketing initiatives.
