Project Description: Wink and Wave Spa at Bala Bay Inn, a sister brand of Wink and Wave, was crafted to bring a new level of luxury beauty and wellness services to residents of Muskoka, Ontario. Known for revolutionizing the industry with home services across Toronto and the GTA, Wink and Wave opened this first brick-and-mortar location in June 2024, situated inside the historic Bala Bay Inn.
Role in Brand Development: I led the branding effort to ensure cohesion with Wink and Wave as well as Bala Bay Inn. My tasks included creating a brand book, designing the logo, developing a font library, and establishing a color palette. I also created icons and visual guidelines for social media, web, and print to reflect the unique aspects of the brick-and-mortar location. Role in Multimedia Design: I developed digital and physical assets, ensuring scalability for various uses, including large-scale wood cutouts and signage. This also included outdoor and indoor signage, drink and bar menus, spa service menus, apparel, and unique products like candles, calendars, and packaging (stickers, stamps, hang tags).
Role in Marketing: Beyond branding, I manage ongoing marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, website support, and partnership marketing for special events.
